In our culture, we often avoid conversations about death and loss. We are encouraged to move on quickly, push our feelings aside, and carry on. Yet unprocessed grief can linger in our hearts, minds, and bodies, affecting our emotional, mental, and physical well-being.

This workshop offers a different approach. Together, we'll explore how grief can become a powerful teacher, inviting us into deeper connection, compassion, and healing. Through storytelling, reflection, and shared experience, you'll learn that the path through grief is not avoidance, but expression.

Awakened Harmony: An Intentional Sound Journey


Step into a guided experience designed to align your body, mind, and intention through breath, vibration, and sound.


We begin by arriving fully into the space, gently dropping in and creating or strengthening a personal intention—something meaningful you’re ready to bring into your life.


From there, participants are guided through a heart-opening cacao ceremony (when available), followed by chakra alignment breathwork. This includes conscious breathing and the option to chant seed mantras (lam, vam, ram, yam, hum, om, ah), helping to clear stagnant energy and bring the body into a balanced, receptive state.


As the body settles, we transition into an immersive sound journey using crystal singing bowls, brass bowls, chimes, bells, and intuitive sound. Participants are invited to relax deeply and “ride the waves of sound,” allowing their intention to move beyond the thinking mind and plant into the subconscious.


This state often brings deep relaxation, emotional release, clarity, and a sense of inner connection.


As the journey completes, we come back together in stillness and integration. By the end of the experience, many participants receive a clearer sense of the next step to take to bring their unique intention into this reality.

This offering is open to all levels. No prior experience is needed. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat, blanket, and anything that supports comfort in a lying or seated position.

Join minister Michael Bingham of Mind Medicine Ministry for an interactive musical ritual that explores how belief shapes experience. Participants will be invited to enter the ceremony in one of two roles: Believer or Skeptic. Both roles are a critical part of the experiment.


Believers will be asked to open themselves fully to the offering and experience Michael’s voice as a channel through which their own hearts are allowed to sing. The ritual may awaken powerful energies within them, ranging from grief to joy to a renewed sense of purpose. It is designed to help participants connect with deep vulnerability in ways that facilitate energetic release and personal empowerment.


Skeptics will be asked to remain guarded, observe critically, and resist being moved by the music. For them, the experience may become an emotional and mental workout in witnessing, resisting, analyzing, and noticing what happens when one tries to hold the heart closed in the presence of something designed to open it.


After an intention-setting ritual and blessing of sacred space, Michael will perform eight songs using the Heart Song method he has been developing in his ministry work. Each song serves as a ritual vessel for the expression of a different truth of his heart. These songs are offered not simply to be heard, but to be felt and entered into, inviting participants to notice what awakens within them over the course of the experience.
