The Habitat is a singer/songwriter and sample/looping artist. He plays several small instruments all connected to a homemade, portable music making rig, called “The Altar”. His music is all original, including elements of storytelling, intricately layered instrumentals, and organic beats. The Habitat’s music ranges from indie bedroom pop to psychedelic primal dance rhythms.
Some of The Habitat’s greatest musical inspirations have been: Lewis Del Mar, Glass Animals, Hozier, Typhoon, Radical Face, and Macklemore.
