Summer Solstice Morning Mojo


Overview: Welcoming the new season every morning with refreshing flow with yours truly Stephanie B. hopefully leaving you grounded and blissed out for the day. Weather you are new to yoga or a seasoned veteran this class will help you squeegee that third eye. Props will be provided but are limited so please arrive a little early to set up for your practice. There will be breathwork,poses for grounding while keeping you cool as the fiery season is upon us,and of course chillin’ out and closing class with a guided meditative svasana.

Come be introduced to the world of body-position and bodywork-based trance states. Throughout history people have utilized very particular body positions to induce specific kinds of trance states. These positions are recorded in the archeological record through statues, icons, and other images. We'll talk about examples of these images and how they were utilized for trance and explore other methods of bodily trance via dance, various forms of massage, and other stationary and movement practices.  

The Habitat is a singer/songwriter and sample/looping artist. He plays several small instruments all connected to a homemade, portable music making rig, called “The Altar”.  His music is all original, including elements of storytelling, intricately layered instrumentals, and organic beats. The Habitat’s music ranges from indie bedroom pop to psychedelic primal dance rhythms.

Lewis Del Mar, Glass Animals, Hozier, Typhoon, Radical Face, and Macklemore.

We are a Mexican American Psychedelic Folk Rock band based out of Utah. Our mission is to reconnect with our common cosmic ancestors through music. They live through us, and we hope to channel them through our music by combining elements of psychedelic rock, Mexican and American folk music, and storytelling.
