About me
Theresa was born in Oakland, California, and spent part of her childhood living in Samoa before relocating to Utah at the age of eleven. Her professional journey in education led her to Hawaiʻi, where she taught for eight years, followed by an additional four years of teaching upon her return to Utah.
Raised within a blended family, Theresa was fortunate to be embraced by two full Polynesian families Tongan and Samoan, an experience that deeply shaped her cultural identity, values, and sense of community. She brings over twelve years of dedicated experience in Special Education, supporting students with compassion, skill, and advocacy.
Among her many roles and accomplishments, Theresa holds her title as a Kaimana Cultural Consultant closest to her heart. She is also a certified Emotional Process Facilitator who is deeply passionate about helping individuals recognize, process, and release emotions, particularly those negative trauma responses that keep people feeling stuck; so they can move toward healing, clarity, and growth.
